Margaret-Mary Griffiths

I have been involved with the visual arts all my adult life, initially training in stage design. Following many years in primary education, I returned to textile studies and to creating exhibition pieces of my own.

My sketches, in pastel, of landscape and life drawing, influence my work, as do the more general themes of nature and past styles.

I have experimented with a wide variety of techniques and textile forms. More recently, I have taken up tapestry weaving.

My work is featured in various publications and I have had a number of solo exhibitions in the London area.
