Anna Diamond

I’ve been stitching for as long as I can remember. I am never long without needle and thread, either relaxing with a familiar technique or being challenged by something different and exciting. I am addicted to colour while experimenting with unusual combinations and mediums.

Working by hand and with a sewing machine, I enjoy taking a traditional technique beyond its boundaries.

I have been teaching embroidery for twenty years, and recently formed the Winchester Cathedral Guild of Broderers, where a group of enthusiastic stitchers repair textiles and work on new projects that I have designed for the Cathedral.
