I attended Sutton Coldfield and Birmingham Colleges of Art, trained in textile design and ceramics, achieved the National Diploma of Design in ceramics, and the Art Teacher’s Certificate at London University, followed by graphic design in the Bahamas and City & Guild courses at the London College of Fashion.
Later I taught in adult education including City and Guilds courses at Richmond Community College and classes for the Embroiderers’ Guild.
I belong to the EG Kingston Branch, NEG, Phoenix Contemporary Textile Group, 4×4 and Fabrications.
I enjoy exploring many textile techniques and am currently incorporating ceramics in my work.
